ABOUT OUR CLINIC

The Anxiety and Agoraphobia Treatment Center is a specialty clinic that serves children, teens and adults who suffer from anxiety disorders, phobias, obsessive compulsive spectrum disorders (Tourette’s Syndrome, tics, body focused repetitive disorders such as compulsive skin picking and trichotillomania) and body dysmorphic disorder. Our specialty is providing scientifically based cognitive behavioral interventions that help patients and their families learn to overcome the problems that fear has caused in their lives. Our goal is to teach every patient and their families how to recognize and face their fears with confidence, self-control and courage. Our clinic has been working with anxious patients since 1983 and we enjoy helping anxious people overcome their fears, worries and compulsions so that they can learn how to live comfortably and confidently.

The Anxiety and Agoraphobia Treatment Center also offers house calls and out of office exposure sessions. We realize that many patients have such severe anxiety, or avoidance behaviors, that traveling to our offices for initial evaluation and treatment is impossible. In these instances, AATC will travel to your home to conduct an initial assessment and begin the interventions that are most likely to help your or your child regain their ability to travel outside the home. We also conduct out of office sessions when you or your child’s fears make it difficult to participate in typical daily activities, such as shopping, attending work, driving, flying, attending school, or using public transportation. We will help you to learn how to live your daily life free from the fears or compulsions that inhibit you or your child’s ability to complete each day’s tasks.

Psychiatric consultation and care is now available for children, teens and adults in the offices of the Anxiety & Agoraphobia Treatment Center. Dr. Anna Flynn is seeing children, teens and adults who need evaluation for medication or who would like a second opinion about their medications.
